C++/Rust Software Developer (Low-Latency) – High-Frequency Trading | Market Making
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about ultra-low latency systems, cutting-edge technology, and pushing performance boundaries? We are seeking a C++/Rust Developer with deep expertise in high-performance, low-latency systems to join a leading HFT/Market-Making firm.
This is a high-impact role where you will design and optimize latency-critical trading infrastructure, working closely with quants, traders, and infrastructure engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems in C++ and/or Rust
- Improve execution speed, minimize microsecond latency, and optimize network stack performance
- Work on performance tuning, memory management, and multi-threading
- Collaborate with quant teams to implement real-time strategies at nanosecond speed
- Work on cutting-edge FPGA, kernel bypass, and network acceleration technologies
- Deploy and test systems in real-time trading environments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in C++ (C++17/20) and/or Rust for high-performance applications
- Strong understanding of low-latency, lock-free programming, and concurrency
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/UDP, sockets, kernel-bypass technologies)
- Familiarity with hardware acceleration (FPGA, RDMA, DPDK, XDP, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in optimizing Linux kernels, CPU cache efficiency, and NUMA architectures
- Background in HFT, market making, or algorithmic trading is highly preferred
