What You Will Do

As Field Service Technician/Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA Ltd. (MHI), you provide mechanical service expertise for our corrugator and box-making machines.

The assignments involve travelling internationally for 1 to 2 weeks at a time, and occasionally for up to 7 weeks. In return, you will have considerable freedom in your role. To support a healthy work-life balance, you will also receive dedicated recovery time at home.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting field service operations (e.g. inspections, overhauls, upgrades, corrective maintenance).
  • Preparing detailed reports on field service activities.
  • Assisting with the installation of MHI machines.
  • Collaborating and training staff of the customer.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will join the Service Department, a team of 15 Engineers. The work environment is informal, and since the team consists of different nationalities, English is the primary language.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Service Technician/Engineer with a mechanical background and strong hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

You enjoy traveling and have no issues being away from home for extended periods.

Customers can always rely on you. You have strong communication skills and know how to effectively interact with customers both in spoken and written English.

Additionally, you have:

  • MBO level 4/Bachelor mechanical engineering.
  • Several years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer.
  • Experience in machine building, industrial manufacturing, or a related field.
  • EU passport.
  • Good command of the English language and preferably another second language.

  • Salary: €3800,- – €4600,- based on full-time employment (40 hrs).
  • 27 vacation days and 5 additional leave days.
