Job Description

The primary responsibility will be supporting the site’s general accounting processes, inventory management (ensuring that inventory adjustments are booked in a timely manner throughout the month), VAT reporting, and assisting the Finance Manager in implementing new accounting policies, processes, reporting, and controls.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Account Payable and accounts receivable management (billing and collection process)
  • Fixed assets management & reporting and Account reconciliation
  • Support and assist in the month-end close process. Complete analysis, prepare journal entries, and analyze information for accuracy and completeness. Input into the system
  • Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas
  • Provide assistance to departments in the formulation of their budgets. Review actual departmental expenses versus budget. Issue monthly variance statements
  • Prepare and analyze month-end and variance reports. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data
  • Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree preferable in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Alternatively, an equivalent level of education plus 2-5 years of relevant experience is required

  • Accounting experience or certification is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or other accounting package is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills (we use Excel & Google Suite)
  • Fluent language skills in German and English, any other European language is advantageous (French, Polish)
