Operations and Maintenance Manager
Are you an experienced operations and maintenance (O&M) expert in the solar energy industry? Do you have leadership abilities and a strong desire to promote sustainable energy?
As Team Lead Solar O&M Services, you will oversee a team that performs maintenance and management on large-scale solar parks and commercial PV installations on business rooftops.
You ensure that customers get the most out of their installations, that high-quality services and staff safety are assured, and that you contribute to a more sustainable future. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent in the field performing maintenance and troubleshooting, setting a positive example for junior service technicians.
The Role:
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and doing other maintenance tasks both alone and collaboratively.
- Accurate reporting on job completed.
- Leading and working with a small but increasing staff of O&M service technicians throughout the country’s southern provinces.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and quality requirements.
- Creating training programs, instructing and managing junior service technicians.
- Conducting performance assessments and encouraging staff to further their careers.
- Warehouse management for our service branch in Dordrecht. You do not have to be here every day.
- Coordination and optimization of maintenance operations and problem resolution in coordination with our planner and Technical Asset Managers.
The Requirements:
- At least an intermediate electrical technical level, gained by MBO-level technical education (for example, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology) or considerable experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in the solar energy business, including operations and maintenance and/or solar energy system installation.
- Experience in leadership and team management.
- Good understanding of PV systems, quality standards, and problem diagnostics.
- Excellent organization and communication abilities.
- Excellent mastery of the Dutch and English languages
- Proactive, optimistic, and problem-solving mindset.
- In possession of a VCA certificate and a driver’s license B.
- NEN3140 knowledge and/or certification is advantageous.
