PARTS PURCHASER ad interim

Reporting to the Parts Purchasing Manager and being part of an international team, you are the first point of contact between MLE and vendors with regards to inbound. You will be solving all corresponding issues that occur in close collaborations with the suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing spare-parts for our dealer network in the EMEA area. Expediting and monitoring back orders.
  • Carry out Last Time Buy activities for phased out parts.
  • Maintain contracts (price list updates) in line with agreed thresholds and policy framework in all related systems.
  • Maintain all related ERP systems parameters to meet MLE policies.
  • Conduct RFQ activities.
  • Close collaboration with interface departments: Customer Support, Parts Technical, Sales Dpt, R&D.
  • Check and approve vendor invoices of and ensure that they are paid on time in cooperation with the finance team.
  • Participate in various projects to stimulate the sales of spare parts.
  • Monitor and improve MLE KPI’s.
  • Analyze and define problem areas and carry out improvement proposals.
  • Provide input for monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications

  • You have an MBO degree (Technical or Commercial).
  • 3-5 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience and understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce), MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and Access.
  • Very good verbal and written skills in English.
  • Experience with contract management, service level agreements.
  • Good negotiations skills.
  • Good project management skills and understanding of the product development process.
  • Additionally: Knowledge of another Western European language will be an advantage.
  • NEVI 1 + NEVI 2 would be an asset.
