What is the job about?
The Purpose of the product manager (internally called customer marketing specialist) for our selected clinical chemistry laboratory portfolios is to bring the value of a growing portfolio to our current and future customers. We have multiple portfolios under clinical chemistry laboratory portfolio (Immunochemistry, clinical chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, workflow and IT etc.) and a select part of the portfolio will be assigned to you based on your interests and the needs of the team. You will then help to position Roche as partner of choice in your assigned portfolio and thought leader as a diagnostics company.

Your responsibilities include:
Manage on market product lines for assigned portfolio and Develops business area mastery to include understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.
Responsible for developing business and marketing plans for assigned area, market positioning, sales plans, and implementation strategies. Participates in and evaluates market research and analysis, promotions, and advertising associated with assigned segments, brands or products; assesses their success against the Annual Operating Plan.
Be involved in translating global strategy into local marketing programs or translating local marketing programs into segment specific initiatives.
Develop and execute strategy and tactics, with alignment to strategic plan to accomplish business objectives. Responsibilities include: driving or participation in the process for the business area annual operating plan; development and implementation of tactics; evaluation of tactics performance with metrics through business reviews; and effective utilization and communication with internal partners and/or external agencies.
Collaborate with sales teams on customer facing presentations, demos and strategic discussions.
Collect voice of customer/customer satisfaction insights and seek co-creation opportunities
Understand the connectivity with other business areas ,Work with cross-functional teams to articulate the value our portfolio brings to customers and actively manage and develop strategic initiatives around the life cycle of certain product lines.

This is the kind of expertise and experience you bring:
Education: HBO / WO education;Marketing education NIMA A-B
Demonstrable expertise in marketing activities, such as segmentation, value articulation, VOC
Minimum 3 years of Product Management / Marketing experience in the clinical chemistry lab portfolios
Knowledge of organizational aspects of the hospitals and / or Laboratories
Knowledge of lab automation and lab software solutions is considered a plus
Ability to work cross culturally
Proficient level in Dutch and English language
Experience in a service-providing position
