TailorMinds is recruiting for several clients in the life science industry for Project Engineers. The range is varied as there are many aspects to be engineered in different projects. Our clients are preferably looking for plug-and-play candidates who can start for one of their several projects in The Netherlands to deliver successful turnkey projects.
Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for initiation of New Projects/re-engineering.
- Single point of contact for CAPEX/OPEX project engineering.
- Detailed preparation of project plan including scope, budgeting, areas affected and implementation deadlines.
- Integration of various disciplines through a multifunctional team approach.
- Integration of all sub plans from construction to procurement, installation, commissioning and qualification.
- Implementation of tender process, packages and costs, appointment of design consultants and contractors.
- Manage contractors and sub-contractors to address construction related issues, review technical submissions and assess the quality of construction against specified company requirements.
- Manage the design, installation, commissioning, qualification and validation of facilities, equipment and or utilities.
- Identifying, evaluating and selecting viable options / alternatives to improve productivity
- Tracking and reporting of Projects with status / management reports inclusive.
- Single point of contact for smooth handover to management, QA, production and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field(s) such as Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
- Proven working experience in an engineering role of at least 5+ years.
- Experience CAPEX and/or OPEX projects within the life science industry.
- Proven working experience in a GMP/HACCP life sciences role of at least 5+ years.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
- Self-propelled, independent, ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
- Proactive and “Go-see” attitude.
- Strongly results-orientated and pragmatic with a corresponding sense of responsibility.
- Planning and reporting experience.
