Our IT support department is looking for a Senior IT Support Benelux employee.You are a technical team player for this hand-on technical position, with a responsibility for the day-to-day activities of our small Benelux helpdesk. This role is primarily focused on end-user support, but also includes technical implementations, administration and documentation. You’re working closely with our EMEA Infrastructure and Business Systems teams. You will take ownership of, and improve on, all local support services and systems, procedures and processes (in line with corporate guidance), from administration to desktop. You’ll have the ability to learn and retain knowledge about new technologies. This is essential, as is the understanding that our primary goal is to proactively enable and support the business as needs dictate. This is not a role for a clock-watcher but rather for a hands-on, ‘get their hands dirty’ IT support technician with ambitions in coordinating day-to-day IT Support. You’ll work closely with a small team of colleagues in the Netherlands and Belgium who share the same mission as you: ensuring that our internal customers can work properly with all available IT resources and software programs. In this hybrid role, you’ll have the opportunity to work partially from home and from the office in Almere. If the situation arises, you may be asked to travel occasionally to other locations in the Benelux. You have extensive and varied IT related knowledge and customer service skills including exposure to Service Now or a similar service management tool and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You provide 1st and 2nd line support for 400+ users at 5 locations in the Benelux, and you will respond and take ownership, to escalated helpdesk tickets from Tier I support staff. You have demonstrated experience with the following technologies/products: SCCM, ITSM Systems, Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, DNS. You’ll jointly co-ordinate the supply of IT and telecommunications equipment, and maintain an inventory including relevant support contracts, in accordance with business requirements. You have the responsibility for adherence to processes, reporting and documentation, for day-to-day support tasks, SOX, …) You have strong log analysis skills, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You have a high level of common sense and can demonstrate logical thinking. Your attention to detail and structured approach ensures things get done when you’re in charge. You are highly organized, confident and self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will provide input in globalizing our infrastructure by helping to support new standards within the international group. You can communicate effectively on all levels, given your frequent interactions with people. Customers perceive you as friendly and helpful. You are fluent in English and in Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus. You have a driving license to travel occasionally to other Benelux location. If the cooperation is good, we are happy to offer a contract for an indefinate period. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from € 3.300,- to € 4.500,- gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications, with room for growth.
