We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in an up-and-coming engineering/consulting company. You will play an essential part in expanding our customer base and strengthening the company’s recognition. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. This is a challenging role in which you’ll bring your exceptional sales skills to practice. You will report directly to the Technical Manager and work closely with the team to deliver technical solutions. You will be responsible for engaging with customers through both video calls and face-to-face meetings, providing deep technical expertise and tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities:
- Being a face of the company for clients,
- Pipeline development: management of a strong sales pipeline by generating, qualifying, and following up on leads,
- Building and maintaining customer relationships,
- Follow-up of opportunities: guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle, analyzing their needs, and providing compelling solutions,
- Closing deals,
- Maintaining an accurate sales forecast,
- Analyzing trends: staying informed of market developments and translating them into opportunities,
- Being involved in other aspects of the company, such as marketing, and actively working with the team to improve all aspects of the company’s presence and recognition,
- Being a crucial part of creating the greater plan for the company, discussing realistic growth targets.
Who are you?
- You have a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in B2B sales,
- You have educational or work experience in the engineering field,
- You have experience in sales in the engineering field and possess enough technical knowledge to professionally explain our company’s work and connect well with the technical personas of the approached companies,
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector is a huge plus!
- You are customer-oriented and know how to build relationships based on trust and added value,
- You have experience in carrying sales in start-ups or small businesses,
- You have strong communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing,
- You have the
power of persuasion
- You work well in a team and can carry your responsibilities independently as well.
Other requirements:
· You have a driving license and own a car (or live close to the office location).
· You have a valid work permit.
