Your Mission:

To manage all marketing to our trade partners, potential trade partners and direct to our consumers.  For this role you will be creative and a quantitative thinker.  You should be familiar with trade marketing techniques across all marketing channels including Bricks and Mortar, Ecommerce and Social channels.  Your goal is to develop and implement the most profitable/cost effective campaigns to position and promote the Umbra brand through our authority in original design.

What you’ll do to be successful in this role…

Manage our brand communication across all channels: Manage all marketing across physical retail, ecommerce and digital channels: including planning, implementation and optimization such as email/CRM, social media, SEO, Display, PPC and ROAS.

Work with the sales team to drive revenue: Work with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and effective action plans to increase sales.  Assist with category leading presentations, driving the Retail Partner Program and how we market the brand in select top tier accounts.  Be the strategic lead in planogramming and graphic updates (e.g. brand pages, FSDUs, etc.) to all our marketing assets across all channels.  Use data to help inform your decisions and participate when needed in trade shows.

Communicate Effectively: Share with speed all marketing messages internally and externally (to Reps/Distributors) all the products details, marketing content and assets that will support building and growing the brand across Europe.  Connect and drive brand engagement, consumer and customer satisfaction and lifetime value.

Deliver Great Marketing Service: Understand and report against engagement/social programs through KPI tracking, managing trade shows and help monitor and track budgets to ensure effectiveness of shows.  Use market intelligence and consumer/customer insights to increase understanding of our European audiences and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

Requirements

What you’ll bring…

Business Savvy: Solid business acumen with excellent time management and organizational skills; strong willingness to use analytics are necessary; well-developed visual merchandising skills required.

Strong Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work with the sales teams/internal teams to achieve sales targets through customer/consumer engagement.   and employee development with a passion for retail, home fashion and trends.  A strong attention to detail and a passion to lead projects and not be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

Project and Budget Management: Lead by example, performing organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.  Proficient use of data analytics and tools to measure the effectiveness of our trade marketing campaigns whether it be physical or digital.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; polished professional presentation and easily adaptable to different situations in a fast-paced changing environment.

Suggested Education:  Business-related post-secondary education is preferred with a focus on marketing/digital marketing.

Preferred Experience: 2-4 years’ progressive retail/digital/sales management experience with a passion to market where the consumer expects to find the Umbra brand.
