Account Executive (EU Market)

I’m supporting an innovative, fast-growing SaaS company in their search for a commercially driven Account Executive to join their European team. This is a great opportunity to step into a profitable, bootstrapped tech business that’s scaling globally, with a strong inbound engine already in place and the ambition to build a structured outbound motion for further growth.

About the Company

This Amsterdam-based SaaS company helps global brands manage their marketing presence across multiple local markets. Their platform solves the distributed marketing challenge enabling companies to maintain brand consistency while empowering local teams to easily adapt campaigns across digital and print channels.

Founded in 2008, the company has evolved from a print-focused service into a fully digital MarTech SaaS platform. Since a management buyout in 2018, it has become profitable, self-financed, and growth-focused, achieving “Rule of 30” performance with minimal churn (<3%).

  • 25 employees globally, with headquarters in Amsterdam and a small team in the US.
  • Customers in 150+ countries, primarily in Europe and the US.
  • Current ARR: €3M+, aiming to reach €10M by 2029.

The Role

As the new Account Executive, you’ll own both the inbound and outbound sales activities for the region. You’ll take over a strong pipeline of inbound leads while building the outbound motion, laying the foundation for predictable, scalable growth.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with peers in the US and EU, working as part of a small, focused sales team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and close inbound leads across mid-market and enterprise segments (average deals €20K–€40K ARR).
  • Build and execute a structured outbound strategy in collaboration with marketing (ABM campaigns already in motion).
  • Partner with the CEO on large, strategic enterprise opportunities (100K+ ARR).
  • Strengthen CRM discipline, data analytics, and pipeline management across the sales function.
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers at brand HQs and support local market activation.
  • Help shape sales methodology, process improvements, and go-to-market initiatives for Europe.

Sales cycle: ~3 months on average, longer for enterprise-level deals.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with curiosity and a consultative mindset. You know how to connect with clients at eye level engaging in value-led conversations rather than transactional pitches.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Around 3 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably within MarTech or related software (not a must).
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle (from qualification to close).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; comfortable with CRM, data, and pipeline hygiene.
  • A consultative sales approach; thoughtful, relationship-oriented, and credible with senior stakeholders.
  • A self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Winning by Design (a plus, not a must).

Requirements:

  • Fluent Dutch speaker (mandatory).
  • Based in or near Amsterdam.
  • Experience in SaaS sales required; MarTech background is a plus.
