You’ll play a vital part in our success, managing our customers’ experience, and building the experience to advance your career.Key responsibilities Drive Air growth and profitability in the Gateway by translating global strategy and initiatives into Gateway Product, Carrier and Performance plans and ensure this is being executed and provide support with expertise and guidance. Responsible for delivering a superior Customer experience to Maersk customers and the execution of all operations tasks on time and on plan to support our Customers success within the Air product. Owns all Airfreight Operations activities under file management for the customers under purview including: All file management activities post booking. Documentation. System updates. Operational finance. Proactive communication with customer service in case of exceptions. Support of customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling. Direct Responsibility: Operations Execution The AIR Operations Associate is responsible for planning and executing operational activities related to Air Gateway Operations and will involve all the file management and operations activities. The incumbent must act as the owner of the job file and will also be responsible for creating and updating of shipping Documents, milestones and customer invoices in the system. This role will need close coordination with customers, customer care team, pricing team and all other relevant stakeholders to ensure that best in class service is given to our customers. Indirect Responsibility Strategy/Product Management Identify and share market trends, opportunities and customer needs Support the execution of global initiatives and strategy within the Country, the Area & the Global Network Accountable for: All file management activities / file ownership Documentation System updates On Time Delivery of shipments Operational finance Proactive communication with customers (internal and external) Drive CM1 optimization Perform compliance checks First line claims handling Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling This role requires coverage on Saturdays and Sundays, therefore you need to be available to work during weekends.We’re looking for Preferably 3-5 years gateway operational or financial operations experience Analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to communicate in a confident manner Drive for results High drive to solve issues Well organized when working under pressure Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results Consistent communication levels internally and externally (“sundown principle”) Cross cultural awareness To be successful you must: AIR Gateway Operations performance delivery aligned with agreed SLA’s Perform timely soft closure within specified hours Timely submission of pre-alert to destination/next leg AWB released (physical vs. ETD) Zero penalties and ensure zero defect level of documentation Customer Satisfaction Survey scores for relevant customers CM1 measurements Air Lowest possible Net Achieved Rate Proper file closure including ICB with all documentation within ETD/ETA Timely updates to Customer Service and effective query resolution We offer We’re on a landmark journey to simplify global trade.
