Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and outbound distribution activities
- Manage, train, schedule, and evaluate shipping team members
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Monitor shipping schedules to meet retail store and customer delivery deadlines
- Coordinate with carriers, transportation partners, and internal departments
- Resolve shipping issues such as delays, shortages, or damaged goods
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Track shipping performance metrics and prepare operational reports
- Optimize shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and execute daily replenishment requirements
- Maintain inventory accuracy during outbound processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or distribution operations
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience mandatory
- Knowledge of shipping systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics processes
- Familiarity with retail and web distribution and carrier requirements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
