About the Company and the Role:

We are a well-funded, forward-thinking fashion startup with global ambitions. Our aesthetic is defined by black, sculptural, daring design rooted in avant-garde haute couture. Inspired by the likes of Rick Owens, Alaïa, Yohji Yamamoto and Chrome Hearts, our mission is to challenge the boundaries of contemporary high-end fashion and beyond.

Founded by 3 fashion-forward individuals with deep company-building expertise, we are only focused on developing daring creations. If it’s been done before, we’re not interested.

As we prepare for our launch, we are assembling a small, highly senior founding team to build a future-facing fashion house at the intersection of design, culture, craftsmanship and technology.

The Role:

As our Head of Brand & Marketing, you will shape and steward the brand across every touchpoint with our (potential) clients — from first awareness to long-term client relationships. The role operates at an architectural level, defining and structuring the strategic foundations of the brand and its long-term market presence. You design, build and guard our most important asset: our brand experience.

This is not a conventional marketing role. We are not looking for a pure brand marketer, nor a demand-driven performance specialist. We are looking for a strategic thinker who understands how luxury experiences are built over time: how meaning is layered rather than explained, how aesthetic and craftsmanship form the foundation of a brand, and how a client journey becomes a coherent brand experience.

The brand is conceived with a quality-first mindset, requiring a deep understanding of how luxury, culture and brand expression translate across different regions and cultural contexts.

Working closely with the founders and the creative leadership, you will translate the deeper philosophy of the brand into a clear, future-facing roadmap — remaining closely connected to both strategic intent and practical execution. You will be expected to step back, take distance, question the norm and build structure where none yet exists.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Objectives:

– Analyse and interpret the competitive, cultural and adjacent-industry landscape to identify where the brand can credibly and distinctively exist

– Define and safeguard the brand narrative, positioning and long-term brand architecture, including core values and long-term meaning

– Define and sharpen our main target audiences — clarifying who the brand speaks to, and who it deliberately does not

– Challenge conventional luxury playbooks by developing alternative strategic scenarios

– Integrate cultural and regional perspectives into a cohesive global brand strategy

– Act as a critical sparring partner to the founders and creative leadership

Strategic Deliverables & Brand Execution:

– Design and oversee the end-to-end client journey, ensuring all touch points reflect the brand’s values and intent

– Develop a global go-to-market plan:

– Develop and steer strategic brand and marketing roadmaps, translating vision into phased and intentional action

– Determine channel strategy across digital, social, campaigns, offline and experiential environments

– Shape campaign direction, storytelling and brand expression across content, imagery and narrative

– Collaborate with and guide external partners, agencies and creatives to ensure strategic coherence

Candidate Profile:

– Approximately 15 years of experience in senior (leadership) brand and/or marketing strategy roles

– Academic background required (strategy, business, marketing, cultural studies or a related field)

– Experience building multi-disciplinary teams

– Proven experience working across multiple international markets or regions

– Experience within luxury or adjacent high-end domains

– Highly analytical, reflective and conceptually strong

– Background at a high-level agency and/or luxury brand

– Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping structure

– International mindset; European passport required

– Fluent in English; French is a strong plus
