Senior/Lead Instrumentation Engineer

As an Instrumentation Engineer you are responsible for the proper design and selection of all instrumentation necessary for the safe and optimum operation of the asset. As Instrumentation Engineer, you must properly apply Discipline knowledge such as specific sizing and selection knowledge to meet all required process and contractual requirements. You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture, and Installation and Commissioning assistance of the Package. You must work with Engineers and Designers both within and outside the discipline to ensure instruments are selected, installed, and configured for optimum operation and accuracy.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Ensure activities are completed with consistency and in compliance with applicable codes, standard and regulations.
  • Achieve effective interface management with internal and external stakeholders and ensure changes are managed.
  • Proactively track areas likely to change to reduce the ‘surprise’ element, added costs and delays to project..

Who Are We Looking For?

Function

We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to act in the role of Lead/Senior Engineer on the FPSO Topside EPC phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent such as Control Engineering
  • Over 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably with FPSO projects
  • In-Depth knowledge of offshore rules and regulations.
  • Proven experience with concept, basic, detailed and construction design / engineering phases.
  • English good, verbally as well as in writing
  • Computer literacy for discipline calculations, document processing, spreadsheets and database management
