Laboratory Technician Immunotherapy – Cell Therapy Specialist | to €45,840 per year | Hoofddorp | Onsite | Shift Work

Offer

  • Salary: Up to €45,840 per year
  • Contract: 12-month contract with potential for extension
  • Working Model: Full-time (40h), On-site
  • Shift Pattern: Day and Evening shift rotating every two weeks | 4 days on, 2 days off | Evening shifts (15:00–00:00) | Day shifts (07:00–15:00)

Role

A Cell Therapy Specialist is responsible for processing patient-derived cells using specialized bioprocessing equipment while strictly following standard operating procedures and quality requirements.

The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to aseptic techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly controlled production setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing activities for cell therapy products in a GMP cleanroom environment
  • Process and handle patient-derived cell materials following approved batch records and SOPs
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain cell processing and biomanufacturing equipment
  • Accurately complete batch documentation and production records in compliance with GMP requirements
  • Follow strict aseptic techniques and cleanroom procedures to ensure product sterility and quality
  • Identify and report deviations, equipment issues, or process irregularities
  • Support process improvements, investigations, and documentation updates when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing Support
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with regulatory and internal standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBO-4 / MLO diploma in Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field, or VAPRO A/B level.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory or GMP-regulated environment (internships or practical training included)
  • Basic understanding of aseptic techniques, microbiology, or cell culture is preferred
  • Experience working with standard laboratory equipment and documentation procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with full gowning procedures
  • Willingness to work shift schedules in a manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team-based production setting
  • Basic English communication and documentation skills required for GMP records
