Are you looking for a role where you can create, innovate, and take ownership of fragrance development? As our Perfumer, you will join the Almere team and work daily on customer-specific projects across multiple categories. This position calls for a pragmatic and agile approach to perfumery to exceed customer expectations and support the company’s growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create, reformulate, and adapt fragrances for various customer briefs and categories, ensuring alignment with client expectations and market trends.
- Develop innovative and cost-optimized fragrance solutions that meet performance, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to present creations and support project success from concept to delivery.
- Provide expertise and guidance on raw material selection and olfactive evaluations for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a robust fragrance portfolio to support proactive client engagement and future business opportunities.
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Perfumery, Cosmetic Technology, Chemistry, or related field (ISIPCA, École Supérieure du Parfum, or equivalent preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Perfumer or Junior Perfumer, preferably within a global fragrance and flavour company.
- Strong technical understanding of fragrance creation, formulation processes, and raw materials.
- Proven experience working across multiple product categories is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in French or Italian is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international, cross-functional environment.
