Employment Type: Full-time (32–40 hours/week)

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer – Solar C&I to join their innovative and rapidly growing team. Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients in the agricultural sector to identify their energy needs and promote the company’s solar PV and BESS solutions.
  • Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, clearly conveying the advantages of the company’s solar and energy storage systems.
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and technical teams to ensure optimal design and implementation of PV and BESS systems for clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Provide technical training, product guidance, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through efficient customer acquisition and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Keep updated on industry trends, policies, and innovations to provide valuable insights regarding renewable energy solutions.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and supportive work culture and client base, embracing diversity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferably electrical or mechanical engineering).
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering role, with expertise in renewable energy, solar PV, or BESS solutions.
  • Solid technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage solutions, and their applications in agriculture.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a varied audience.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Results-focused with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills to achieve sales goals.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, renewable energy applications, and available subsidies or incentives is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.
