For a multinational corporation in Almere, we are looking for a Sales Representative. The brand specializes in high-end optical components and is headquartered in Almere. What sets them apart is their ability to provide in-house coding, customizable solutions, and an extensive customer base across Europe and the United States. The company is a subsidiary of a global leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectors, interconnect systems, sensors, antennas, sensor-based products, and high-speed specialty cable.
The “mother” company has a strong global presence in America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, and utilizes a combination of direct sales, independent representatives, and electronics distributors to reach their customers.
Role description
The role of an inside sales representative involves a variety of responsibilities, such as generating new leads, engaging with customers, comprehending their requirements, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Achieving success in this position will depend on your ability to reach targets and close deals. You will also be required to stay up-to-date on the company’s products and services and be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate their features.
To excel as an inside sales representative, it is crucial to possess strong communication skills, establish instant rapport with customers, and exhibit a competitive spirit. Additionally, exceptional listening skills are essential to understand customer needs and preferences.
Role demands
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role
- Fluency in French or Dutch (at native or fluent level)
- Previous work in an outbound call center or similar sales role is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong phone and cold calling abilities
- Capability to meet targets
