As a Service Engineer, you will serve as the key interface between the manufacturer and dealers, ensuring excellent service quality and technical support. You will coordinate service training, assist in troubleshooting, and support warranty processing. Your role includes frequent visits to dealers/customers, collaboration with service technicians, and working closely with our Polish and Chinese teams. The position requires regular travel within Benelux countries (The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg), as well as sometimes to Poland and/or China.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on construction equipment (mainly diesel and battery electric vehicle of excavators, loaders, telehandler, AWP, forklift, bulldozers, motor grader, skid steer loader, roller, etc.).
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic system failures using LiuGong OEM software
- Provide remote or on-site support to minimize downtime for customers.
- Upgrade LiuGong software, if needed.
- Field Service & Customer Support
- Conduct scheduled service visits, inspections, and emergency repairs at customer sites.
- Advise customers on proper equipment operation, maintenance schedules, and spare parts management.
- Document service reports, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Warranty & Spare Parts Coordination
- Validate warranty claims and liaise with manufacturers for approvals.
- Recommend genuine spare parts and assist in parts ordering/logistics.
- Submit quality issues in LiuGong SIOT system for improvement.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Train customers and operators in safe equipment use and basic troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on new product technologies and service manuals.
- Support new product launch plans, product testing, and customer demo.
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow Liugong OEM guidelines and local safety regulations during repairs.
Requirement:
- Can speak fluent English and Dutch required
- At least 5 years related working experience in our industry
- Majoring in Engineering/Construction machinery or relative majors
- Good Team work player
- Customer focus and could react fast
