Where will you work as Teamlead Maintenance Corrective? Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE) is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) from Japan. Our facility in Almere consists of two divisions: Engine & Energy and Turbocharger. While our Engine & Energy division designs and sells high-end gas and diesel engines, MTEE is also a global leader in turbochargers for the automotive industry.

We are the only organization in the Netherlands that develops and produces turbochargers in-house, covering the entire development process from A to Z. This vertical integration makes us unique in the field. You will join the Turbocharger division , specifically within the Maintenance team, a dedicated group of 22 professionals including Service Engineers, Maintenance Support Coordinators, a Maintenance System Engineer, and a Maintenance Trainer.

What is your challenge as Teamlead Maintenance Corrective? The Maintenance department is responsible for the technical health of our turbocharger assembly lines. Your mission is to organize and execute technical activities that support our production goals. You will guide and support our Service Engineers and conduct deep-dive investigations into mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.

Working closely with the Production and Quality departments, you share responsibility for daily output. You will report to the Teamleader Maintenance and provide monthly progress updates to the management team.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and analyzing data from various internal systems;
  • Organizing Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings to identify issues with high MTTR and low MTBF;
  • Defining and implementing both corrective and preventive follow-up actions;
  • Proactively participating in 5S and Kaizen improvement teams;
  • Coordinating maintenance tasks with Production and external third parties;
  • Guiding, motivating, and instructing a team of Service Engineers;
  • Initiating improvement projects regarding team development and production process optimization.

As the pivot point of the Maintenance department, you must be a strong communicator capable of interacting with all levels of the organization. We are looking for professional maturity, decisiveness, and the ability to lead a team through technical challenges.

Additionally, you possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in a Technical field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a production environment, specifically with automated production lines;
  • A strong affinity for technology and engineering;
  • Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
