This is your role

As a Scrum Master / agile coach at TradeTracker, you will be at the heart of our agile development process. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our development teams adhere to the purest form of Scrum methodology. We are looking for someone who is not just a Scrum Master in title but a true advocate of Scrum principles, ensuring that the business stakeholders actively participate in the Sprint Review and that our multidisciplinary teams are fully engaged in the development process. We are passionate about technology and in our development, we follow a cloud-native approach, leveraging AWS services, whilst using tools from the Atlassian product suite, Miro and GitLab for our development and deployment processes.

Required skillset / experience

Team coach: You can guide and coach the development team on Scrum practices and principles to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Also you foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the development team.
Scrum ritual guardian and facilitator: All standards scrum events need to be facilitated, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives. Of course you can guide the team to host these themselves when they are ready for it. You know Atlassian Jira from the outside-in and are able to change the workflow and status changes as well as other settings to facilitate the ways of working for the team.
Scrum & team advocate: Advocate for and implement the purest form of Scrum methodologies, with a strong emphasis on involving business stakeholders in the Sprint Review. You act as a servant-leader: removing impediments, and ensuring that the team is, or becomes self-organized.
Performance booster: Delivering value to our customers early and often is important to you. When there are (technical) reasons for delayed delivery of user stories which are ready then you will help the team to figure out how to remove those limitations. You help product owners to understand how to best prepare work in a true agile manner to ensure flow. All to allow us to deploy to production multiple times per week.
Business focused: You help the entire organization by making the full development process visible from Business objectives and high level vision and plans to key results and deployed features helping our customers. The team needs to come up with the OKRs, you are their guide.
Multidisciplinary teams: You have got experience in a multidisciplinary team approach where all team members actively and efficiently participate in the development process. You create short lines between team members, stakeholders and other internal scrum teams.
Domain-Driven Design: Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles is a big plus, as our platform deals with complex domain models
